He was born in the wild but at the tender age of 3 he was discovered by a hunter as an abandoned orphan. His name was Snowflake and up until his death in 2003 he was the only captive albino gorilla (or in the wild for that matter). Snowflake was the white gorilla that Barcelona city fell in love with and he was responsible for drawing millions of visitors to Barcelona Zoo.
